Gosport Camera Club was founded in 1952 and is a member of the Southern Photographic Federation (also see SPF page of this website) which is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. In the Club season, from September to June, we meet every other Tuesday at Hardway & Elson Districts Community Association (Hedca), Coombe Road, Gosport. For details click here.
We hold our own Club competitions (Programme) but also participate in SPF League competitions and hold friendly ‘battles’ with local camera clubs, but you do not need to compete - an interest in photography is all that is required. We also hold regular presentations and lectures given by visiting experts which all help to demonstrate new techniques and different aspects of photography.
The Club’s Annual Exhibition will be held in The Discovery Centre (Gosport Discovery Centre) Central Library, Gosport from Saturday 13 (setting-up) to 27 August 2011 inclusive. For further details click here: Exhibition
